Thankfulness

Well, this blog has been a long time coming. I have been thinking of writing for a while, but only just recently was inspired enough to actually make it happen! Well... to be perfectly accurate, I talked to one of my friends, and she created this account for me (Probably because she got sick of me talking about doing it but never actually doing anything about it!) Thanksgiving Dinner

Last week we hosted a "Southern Hemisphere" Thanksgiving. It was supposed to happen the week previous, but all my boys got sick, so we had to postpone it. My northern hemisphere friend was so chuffed that we were having our own Thanksgiving, that she sent us a little thankfulness package, complete with French Fried onions (to put on the green bean casserole), some Reeces Peanut Butter Cups (Oooohhhh, they are good - don't worry, there are still plenty left... well some anyway!), and some toys for my littlest boys. Thank you beautiful lady, you have no idea how special that was! I have to say that the decorations were less than I had hoped, but the food was wonderful (Next time we will have mini pumpkin decorations). One of my friends did several trials to get her pumpkin pie "Just right", and it was perfect!. Sadly this busy mum only took 1 photo, right before everyone demolished it all!
