Little Hanger

Do you recall when I showed you this wee little bit of knitting a couple of weeks ago?
Well, I actually got it finished just before baby starfish arrived, but lacked the time and good lighting to take any photos... till now. You see both of my other babies were 10 days overdue, so when Baby Starfish arrived on his due date, some of my plans flew out the window! I was anticipating to be just hanging around for a week or so after his due date, and had thought I'd do a few posts on hangers.

So here it is...

...the first one that I made.
Knitted cover over a timber hanger.

I made it for Jellyfish as his clothing is getting bigger now, and the baby hangers aren't quite cutting it.
And I knew that with the series of  things I had made for the baby, the chances were the the boys might feel a little left out, so something made for them was in order.

Next week I'll show you another one.

    1. Thanks Claire! Busy is certainly the right word for it! I don't get to the computer most days - still working on getting out of my PJ's by 10am most days! lol

  2. Wow, I'm so jealous! I can only crochet granny squares, but this is definitely my kind of happy, cute little project!

    1. It really was easy to make - I just had to figure out how many stitches I would need to go around the hanger, and knit, knit, knit till I had enough length. Jellyfish has actually asked for another one.

    1. Thanks Debra. I find they are just a bit nicer than having the raw timber snagging your clothes. I am actually considering doing a painted version for baby starfish.
