Getting the dying apparatus set up.
The dyed paper once it is dry.
Part one of the stamping.
From L - R: 1. Blue card, 2. Rock with fossils in it, 3.brown envelopes, 4. White ink pad, 5. Red & White twine, 6. Stamps. |
Part two of the stamping. I haven't managed to get this done. I'm a little annoyed as I wanted to have it completed before Jellyfish and Little Clam woke from their afternoon nap, but the brand new white ink pad won't transfer any pigment to my rubber stamps. Has anyone had this happen to them before? And do you know how to solve my dilemma?
I also took the boys on a little shopping trip this morning to one of my favourite paper shops, and then on to do a little thrifting. I will show you the booty tomorrow (when some of it gets off the line). Hope you all have a carefree, crafty evening!

Oh, looks very cute and interesting! Good luck with the white stamp pad. Hope you find the answer. :)
ReplyDeleteI love love the bird stamp. did you figure out the white stamp? I've never even seen one before, how cool.
ReplyDeleteI have those Kikki K stamps too, and I see you've bought the red and white twine also. I'm using it as the ties for another set of Christmas tags in red. Make sure you do a post when the project is finished....Terese
ReplyDeleteHow funny, i'm just doing some stamping myself right now. Thanks for your comment on my blog, about my mummy, it sucks. I lost my mother-in-law when i was 23, pregnant with our first baby, so our children have all grown up knowing cancer is horrible!! I have a great giveaway up too, don't miss out on that one. Love Posie
ReplyDeleteOooh this is looking great! Can't wait to see the finished product! :)
