A Taste of Summer

These are just a few of the things I love about Summer...

We stopped at the fruit shop at Rouse Hill on the way back from the Blue Mountains on the weekend. This is a small sample of the goodies we brought home.

Cherries

Yumm...

Playing in the back yard...
Sand under your feet

On Sunday afternoon, while snapping photos of Mr. Kelp, Jellyfish & Little Clam while they were playing in the sandpit and baby pool, I had to take a couple of the agapanthus that was growing right behind where I was sitting.

Mmmm, I love so many things about Summer.
What about you? What do you love?

  1. I love Mangoes!! All summer fruti gets me very excited but it's the good old mango I love the most.
I also love watching small children run around with huge slabs of watermelon in their hands, the slow(er) pace of the da when summer is here and teching the girls to ride a boogie board.
Enjoy - we are very blessed to live in this great country.

  2. Oh my I am missing summer here in the northern hemisphere! My favorites... soaking in the warm bright sun, laying in the grass on a quilt and reading a book, hiking in the forest, and garden. I always say I'm not right unless my hands are in the dirt. Looks lovely, enjoy!!
